Hi, I’m Bethany Regehr, and I am a Counsellor with a passion for helping individuals navigate their unique life journeys. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counselling, and I am a proud member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) and a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC).
My therapeutic approach is grounded in person-centered therapy, which means I believe in the inherent worth of each person and in your ability to guide your own healing process. I provide a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where we can work together to explore your thoughts, feelings, and life experiences at your pace. I work with individual adults as well as teens ages 16+.
I also draw from narrative therapy, which honors the stories we tell about ourselves and invites us to examine them from new perspectives. Together, we’ll look at how these stories may have been shaped by relationships, culture, or past experiences — and how they can be rewritten in ways that are empowering, healing, and true to who you are. I believe that every person’s story is rich with meaning and potential for transformation.
Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, grief, identity exploration, life transitions, or something else entirely, I’m here to walk alongside you, supporting your growth with understanding and compassion. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process where you are the expert of your own life, and I’m here to support you in reconnecting with your strengths and creating the changes you desire.
With a quiet attentiveness and genuine curiosity, I’ll listen to understand your unique needs and help you reconnect with your strengths, guiding you through challenges like anxiety, grief, or identity exploration. I’m here to support your journey towards growth and self-discovery, with the belief that change is possible when we embrace our own story.
No matter what you are bringing into the therapy room, I would be honoured to work with you.
