Who we are

Tend Collective was created from a desire to offer care that honours people and the full complexity of their lives. For us, this means therapy that centres your experience, is grounded in cultural awareness, and pays attention to the impact of the world around you. It also reflects our commitment to building spaces where people can connect, feel supported, and grow in community.

To tend is to care, to notice, to nurture. At Tend Collective, we’re guided by this idea: tending to others, supporting people as they tend to themselves, and encouraging communities to show up and care for one another.

Our Guiding Values:

Tending with Care

We believe in showing up with attentiveness, compassion, and respect for the full experience of every person. Care is not rushed or transactional—it is intentional, relational, and grounded in dignity.

Accessibility

Everyone deserves access to meaningful support. We are committed to reducing barriers—financial, cultural, social, and systemic—so that more people can find care that feels safe, responsive, and welcoming.

Person-Centred Practice

We honour each person as the expert of their own life. Our work centres your voice, your pace, and your unique context, trusting that healing grows from collaboration rather than prescription.

Cultural Awareness & Social Justice

People do not exist apart from their communities or the systems that shape their lives. We pay attention to issues of power, identity, and equity, and we strive to offer care that is culturally responsive and socially conscious.

Community Connection

We believe healing is strengthened through connection. We aim to nurture spaces where people feel supported and where communities can tend to one another with presence, care, and mutual respect.

Shared Growth

Tending is ongoing. We remain curious, reflective, and open to learning—within ourselves, within our relationships, and within our communities.
