Hi, I’m Bethany, a Counsellor passionate about helping individuals and couples navigate life, relationships, and personal growth. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counselling, and I am a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC) and proud member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).

My approach is grounded in person-centred counselling. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and that meaningful change can happen when we have a space where we feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. I offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where we can explore your experiences at a pace that feels right for you.

I work with individual adults, teens ages 16+, and couples. With couples, I draw on the Gottman Method Couples Therapy, a research-informed approach that helps us understand relationship patterns, strengthen connection, and identify a path forward.

I also draw from Narrative Therapy, which invites us to explore the stories we carry about ourselves and our lives. Together, we can consider how these stories have been shaped by our relationships, culture, and experiences—and make space for new perspectives that feel more authentic and empowering.Whether you’re navigating anxiety, grief, identity, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and reconnect with what matters to you.

I believe therapy is ultimately a collaborative process. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. My hope is to offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can come as you are, explore what matters most, and find a way forward that feels true to you.

With a quiet attentiveness and genuine curiosity, I’ll listen to understand your unique needs and help you reconnect with your strengths, guiding you through challenges like anxiety, grief, or identity exploration. I’m here to support your journey towards growth and self-discovery, with the belief that change is possible when we embrace our own story.

No matter what you are bringing into the therapy room, I would be honoured to work with you.
